Sweet Starlight Candle Jar Tutorial from Pretty Little Things
Polly Conway

I know that the snow is coming down all across the East Coast, but it's also getting just about as cold as it gets in California right now. The second I get home from work, I run to my tiny heater, crank it up to eleven, and bundle myself up for the night with a puffy vest and multiple pairs of socks. I've also been lighting candles around the house to create a wee bit of heat and intensify the coziness factor.
This sweet candle jar tutorial from fellow Oaklander Lori Marie of Pretty Little Things (who is guest posting at one of my ultimate favorite design blogs, Draw! Pilgrim) is perfect for enhancing these chilly days.
Many of of my personal project needs are fulfilled by this one: it's made with materials that I already have, it's quick, and I can use the finished product right away. I also like that the end result is a little rough and imperfect; I can always get behind a handmade item that looks handmade. Here's the tutorial. Stay toasty, my friends, and start getting cozy!
