I wrote about
Mexican saddle blankets over on Design for Mankind this week, and gracious—I'm falling madly and deeply in love with the look. I'm picturing a few of these Native American-inspired textiles with some mid-century chairs, walnut credenzas and, of course, some yummy local artwork (
Jeana Sohn would go swimmingly!).

Or, I suppose you could always set up shop in a
suburban teepee and daydream on your blankets. Preferably in a
Lindsey Thornburg cloak or two.

Of course, when you get bored of daydreaming, you could always
channel your inner Kate MccGwire and mock up some fabulous feather sculptures.
Yee-haw!
