Is there anything more trendy at the moment than plants, facets and terrariums? How about the conglomeration of the three? Designed by Swiss label Pour les Alpes (also known as design duo Tina Stieger and Annina Gähwilerand) and to be displayed at the DMY 2010 International Design Festival in Berlin, I've never seen anything quite as beautiful. Sure, I don't have the greenest thumb around, but how fun would tending your garden be in these wooden multi-faceted pots? A word from the designers:
"The crystals, Chapütschin and Gion are alpine treasures in an urban landscape. Their formal language is archaic but sophisticated. The design is inspired by the mountain crystal; originated from the depths of nature, legendary the stories of its discovery and sculptural its appearance."
Beautiful, yes? I think I'm finally inspired to break out the gardening gloves. [Images, top to bottom: Dezeen]
