Well-Rounded Week
Erin Loechner
Here at ReadyMade, we scour the web daily for the most gasp-inducing people/places/products. And luckily for you, Friday is when we share it all in one handy place! Below is our well-rounded week wrap-up for October 4-10, 2010:

BUYABLE:
- The gals at SeeSaw Letterpress released their much-anticipated 2011 calendar design yesterday, and it's geometrically awesome. And you know how we feel about geometrics. ($32)
- This week, EveryGuyed and Moxy Creative collaborated on Dress the Part: 10 Movie Posters Inspired By Men's Style. Our favorite? Dumb and Dumber, which is just... genius. ($30)
- Blanket Magazine, an Aussie-based online PDF mag uncovering emerging artists from all over the world, announced its 'Landscape Issue' release on Wednesday. Hint:The mobile tutorial is incredible. ($2)
- Veinticuatrodientes's "Attitude Measuring Leggings" are now available in the U.S. Which means you'll see me donning them weekly. OK, daily. ($21)

READABLE:
- Little Paper Planes sat down with Barcelona-based artist, Conteleta for a riveting interview about concepts, influence and the art of being attentive to your work.
- Sight Unseen uncovers Established & Son's Design Against the Clock event, where five teams of designers were invited to construct a design in eight hours. Designers of note?: Tord Boontje, Sebastian Wrong and Gavin Turk. Watch the fascinating video here.
DOABLE:
- L.A. artist Bari Ziperstein is asking for your dinner plates. No, really. LACMA's "1,095: One Year's Worth of Other People's Plates", scheduled for November 7th, will be a large-scale, temporary, ceramic plate mandala featuring (if you're so inclined) your dinneware. Freshly washed, please.
- Head to Ace Hotel in Palm Springs for a weekend of crafting (Amy Devers is covering it for ReadyMade, so watch for that next week).
- FacesiMake, a free app based on Hanoch Piven’s highly acclaimed collage Art Workshops is now available (and highly entertaining!).
- If you find yourself in Manhattan, give D'Espresso a visit and turn your head sideways. It's a trip.
