Well-Rounded Week
Erin Loechner
Here at ReadyMade, we scour the web daily for the best in people, places, products, foods. Below are our picks for October 11-15, 2010:

BUYABLE:
- Photographer Adam Krause created a handmade zine titled Carnivores +Destructors that documents people who are crazy obsessed with Morrissey. I'm not in it, but I should be. ($13)
- Our friends POKETO introduced sweatshirts to their apparel line this week. One of each, please? ($48)
- The Lost at E Minor store recently launched quirky sculptures by WiNK WiNK PONY called Have a Lollipop Day. I think I will, yes. ($65)

READABLE:
- Sculptor extraordinaire Kate MacDowell has new work to share over at My Love For You is a Stampede of Horses. Check it. It's awesome.
- A balancing barn from our friends at Dezeen. Need we say more?
- We're not one to poke fun of history, but LIFE's 30 Dumb Inventions is very, very pokeable. (Pay special attention to the Anti-Bandit Bag. Hilarious.)
DOABLE:
- Funnyman Blaine Hogan is opening his Happy Friday Dance Party to the public. That's right --- film yourself dancing, send it over and let the fun begin.
- If you find yourself with some extra change in your pocket, consider funding Camera on a String's Kickstarter project. Bonus? Free art!
- Other suggestions here, in our Best Events.

EDIBLE:
- Open stovetop fire seems to be gaining steam (smoke?)—First Louisa shared how to roast an eggplant over a burner, now the folks over at Simply Recipes are sharing how to toast up parmesan cheese rinds (via the kitchn) and enjoy some charred crunch.
- We love the taste (and excitement) of making stove top popcorn and we can’t wait to make a batch of this salty-sweet Kettle Korn from Kelly of Eat Make Read.
- A Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Dinner Roll that doubles as a placecard? Dinner parties, here we come! (Thanks Simple Bites for the sweet idea.)
