Amy Palanjian

cremefraichecoffeecake_01_1209_x2-540x281 One of the many relaxing things I did over the holidays was to read issue 1 of Remedy Quarterly, a divine little publication filled with recipes, interviews, remedies and stories. This delicious looking recipe, which is up over at Eat Make Read today (Kelly is part of the team behind Remedy), comes from Tim of Lottie + Doof. Seems like just the thing to start off the new year in my kitchen. cremefraichecoffeecake_1209_x2-540x563

Instant Room Transformation With Kraft Wallpaper

Katherine Sharpe

kraft tiles ReadyMade reader Matt Pisane, who redid his walls earlier this year with a ticking stripe made from inexpensive crepe paper, writes in: "So I decided to update my wall decor. This time around I used a $25 pad of 18x24" Kraft paper and double sided tape to create a giant tile effect. It's very natural looking, almost like terra cotta." We could not agree more. Got a project you think we'd like to feature? Send it here. Another picture after the jump. kraft wall tiles 2

Katherine Sharpe

Ah, New Years' resolutions. It's easy to roll your eyes at the tradition, but it's hard not to make a few, at least quietly to yourself. Despite (or because of) all its wonders, the holiday season can leave us feeling sluggish of body and spirit by the time it's through.
