We all respond to beautiful images, ones that conjure a mood and a beautiful, aspirational life. And also images that express the perspective of the designer or store owner and that we, as customers, identify with, be they romantic, eccentric, preppy, earthy or luxurious. As a blogger, photography is one of the first things I look at when I visit a site. In fact, I've often been disappointed when I found a new label I loved and went to their website, hoping to share it, only to find lacklustre photography that failed to capture that spark I saw in person.
 
So, I think you'll immediately see why I was blown away by Captain Cat. This Etsy store is more than a vintage clothes store. They describe themselves as  "an art collective combining the skills of three different artists into a unique craft making trio." As such, the wares include photographs, art, vintage household items and, of course, clothes, all beautiful shot.
