Etsy Favourite: Riordan Roache

Jane Flanagan

I first discovered Riordan Roache through another Jane… Jane of the blog Simple Pretty and was instantly smitten with these easy and stylish pieces. I also included one of their dresses in our recent seersucker round-up, but couldn’t resist shining the spotlight on them for a little longer. Here are some of my favourite pieces…

Sharing the CSA Love

Jeannette Ordas

my own csa haul

Back in April I was just waiting for the day when our Community Sponsored Agriculture shares would begin. And now that we’re at the end of July, our shares have really started to take off. Rainbow Bright: Sarah Moli Newton Applebaum

Leilani Labong

I’ve been putting off writing this post mostly because I have no logical words to describe the vibrant, multi-media work of San Francisco-based artist, Sarah Moli Newton Applebaum. I can only state the obvious: Her exaggerated, confusing, color-wonderful crochet work, costumes, and other fabric and paper manipulations seem to be the landscape of dreams. Not bucket-list-type  . . . Continue Reading

Style Inspiration: Salwar

Jane Flanagan

This style inspiration is a request from Emily Greene. She’s just purchased this salwar from Toast, but is nervous about how she’s going to wear them.

I included something similar in this previous churidar Style Inspiration, but decided to take a second stab for Emily!

Abduction Lamp

Jaime Derringer

This lamp made me LOL.

It’s called the Alien Abduction Lamp designed by Lasse Klein. The top of the lamp is a UFO with glowing alien creatures, who are hard at work abducting a lone cow from the field.

It’s sure to please cow lovers and alien lovers alike.
