The 30 For 30 Challenge: Week Two
Erin Loechner

So. Week two of my 30 for 30 challenge is upon us, and I thought by now I'd be feeling strong, confident and on top of the world (and my laundry). In fact, i'm feeling the opposite. I miss my vintage Etienne Aigner boots, am angry with myself for allowing only one pair of jeans in the mix, and can't believe I didn't include that killer fur vest I scored at the flea market this summer.
And I'm not going to lie. I totally cheated on Saturday. Didn't get out of my pajamas, which I don't think is in the rulebook, unless, of course, said pajamas are one of your thirty items. Either way, I felt like a complete and utter failure when I sat down to write this post.
But then? Then I read your encouraging comments from last week's post, and it turns out, I'm not alone here. It seems there are two types of people in this world: (1) The Hoarders and (2) The Minimalists. I, unfortunately, am the former. But those of you who mentioned you only own thirty items of clothing? You Minimalists? You are an inspiring set of folk. And now I'm thinking that if you lovely people can live your entire life with just thirty items of clothing, I can certainly survive one month. Right?
Right. So, I'm back on the wagon. Consider me revitalized and ready to tackle week three with zest and vigor. I'll check in next week with my progress (and hopefully a new lease on wardrobe remixing!).
In the meantime, I'd love to know how many items of clothing you own (roughly). Any more hoarders out there? Minimalists? Spill it!
