Hello, all! My name is Tim Mazurek and I am an artist/writer/baker based in Chicago.  I am so excited to be joining the the ReadyMade blogging team. My background is in art and design but I have become increasingly obsessed with good food and the politics of the plate. If you have visited my food blog, Lottie + Doof you already know that I love entertaining and desserts (as long as they don't contain chocolate). So count on me for some special dessert recipes as well as ideas for throwing the perfect dinner party. My partner Bryan and I recently bought our first apartment and have spent the last few months setting it up. I am so excited to have the dining room of my dreams and a perfect place to entertain. Our home remains a work in progress so I am always on the lookout for beautifully designed objects for the kitchen or table, which I will also share with you.
