ReadyMade has featured a fair number of projects made of wine bottles and packaging, but I never thought that any wine-related objects could be used to construct a house. Alas, I was intrigued by this house in Murcia, Spain, which was built with a ceramic wine rack facade. Many of the wine rack holes are filled in with boldly colored ceramic tiles, resulting in the colorful exterior. Spanish Xpiral architect Javier Peña is responsible for the design, which also includes a second cantilevered living space above. What do you think of this place? Too much, or are you loving it? I'm still undecided, but definitely have to give the architect credit for innovation.
