Through an email from a friend that she got from another friend I found
Good. Food. Stories. earlier this week. Here's the scoop from Danielle Oteri and Casey Barber who run the site:
Good. Food. Stories. shares stories about eating, drinking, and most of all enjoying oneself immensely (and sometimes gluttonously) through food. Being “a good eater” was a high compliment in our youth, and we were blessedly lucky to make it to adulthood without being fed the food hang-ups that have unfortunately become a rite of passage for too many American women. Whether it happens to be in Florence, Italy or Johnstown, PA, we are big fans of eating well in anyone’s kitchen and are never afraid of butter!
I became hooked after reading Casey's reasons for shelling out for a
stand mixer, which I'm now thinking it's high time for me to do, and the "Ask Casey" posts, particularly this one about
pizza dough. They also have video, recipes, and place-based stories about people and their food.
