Swap-O-Rama-Rama 
Chicago Waldorf School, Chicago, IL 

This Saturday, "hundreds of crafty Chicagoans" are expected to attend this massive swap-meet on West Loyola Avenue. Windy City folks who want to change up their wardrobe for the spring without maxing out your credit card, this is your chance: Bring a bag of unwanted and gently-used clothing to be added to the swap pile, along with a donation of whatever you can afford (suggested amount is $20). Along with the bevy of garments, the space at the Waldorf School will be chock-full of sewing machines, paint, and tools for transforming your finds. More than fifty "renegade" crafters are volunteering to lead workshops on sewing, silkscreening, dyeing, knitting, jewelry making, and more. Leave with whatever you can carry!
