Why hello March 1st, you snuck up on us. This seems to be the month where projects are planned, garages are cleaned out, and shopping lists for home improvement stores get a little out of control. Luckily, there's a site that'll help you with those last two.

DiggersList, an online marketplace founded in 2009 to buy, sell, and donate your home improvement goods goes national today—think of it as a Craigslist without the personal ads. In a stat from the EPA, it's estimated that more than 160 million tons of construction and building materials end up in landfills each year. This site aims to connect contractors and homeowners with cost-conscious DIYers in order to disrupt the cycle of waste.

Browse the listings for leftover tile, cabinetry, salvaged floors, sinks, light fixtures...you name it. It's free to post, free to browse, and you can search by zip code or nationwide. Bonus: DiggersList will hook you up with a donation site, like Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, for those items that you just want to get off your hands without searching for a buyer.
