How Much Was That Sandwich In Your Brown Bag?

I always there to be wanted something like this, and now it exists! Well, sort of exists. If you shop at the same place as Rob Cockerham does and like the same things on your sandwiches, you can use Cockerham’s Sandwich Price Calculator to figure out the price of the sandwich you bring to lunch. The calculator allows for your choice of four breads, a half-dozen kinds of meat, cheese, and popular sandwich add-ons.

Maybe Rob will take the calculator open-source, so we can all add price data for our favorite lunch items? I’d like to know the cost per unit of my favorite flatbread + avocado + turkey + mayonnaise number.

Oh wow! This is amazing. I think I’m going to spend my entire day creating & calculating sandwiches.

It’s just too bad they don’t have a fake-meat option for us veggies..
