A Concrete Vase With Flowers
Posted by ReadyMade
Nothing symbolizes the decay of modern civilization like a concrete vase with shriveled roses sprouting from the top. It’s the perfect gift for that special someone toward the end of an affair.

- Concrete
- Mixing bucket
- Long-stemmed flowers
- Vase
- WD-40
Materials
- File
- Funnel
- Trowel
Tools
To begin, spray WD-40 into the vase. This will ease the separation process once the concrete is dry.
Next, fill the vase with concrete.
Push one or more flowers into the mixture. If it isn’t thick enough to hold the stems upright, wait a bit for it to congeal.
Once the flowers are in place, flatten the concrete along the top with a trowel. After several days, break away the ceramic. Voila!
