So I saw a SMALL plaque in a catalog and fell in love. The only problem was that it was only about 6" by 12" and costs $25! No Thanks! So...I decided to make my own version of the product. I changed some of the words and made it ginormous. Mine measures closer to 31" by 48" and costs $4. I win!

The board is a piece of birch plywood that I got for FREE after posting a request on Facebook. Someone had it laying around in their garage and was happy to be rid of it. Unfortunately no one had stencils so I had to actually pay money at a store for those. The black wall paint was some that I already had, and the white craft paint only cost $0.95. Paint the entire board black. When it is completely dry, trace your stencil letters with pencil onto the board. (I counted my letters, words, lines, etc. to make sure the spacing was ok before I started tracing them on) Then using a small artist brush, paint in the letters. Nail some picture hanging hardware on the back and hang next to a really awesome picture of your kid :)
