How to Paint a Clay Pot

- watercolor paper or canvas
- 'Terracotta' paint
- 'Ballet Pink' paint
- 'Real Brown' paint
- tracing or tissue paper
- pencil or tracing paper
Materials
- stylus or ball point pen
- #6 or #8 paintbrush
Tools
Trace then transfer one side of the clay pot.
Flip pattern over, line up edges, and transfer mirror image of the clay pot.
Basecoat entire pot with Terracotta.
Paint 'inside' of pot and just under the rim with brown paint.
Scrub - yes, scrub - Ballet Pink paint onto part of rim and body of pot. Use a dry brush. Load the brush w/a little pink then wipe most of it off on a paper towel.
