See Spot Eat Pupsicle

When the temps get toasty, freeze some pupsicles for your canine pals.
Scarfing down a frozen treat before it drips all over the sidewalk could be the most refreshing challenge about steamy summer days—and now your dog can join in the fun. Kat Martin, owner of See Spot Eat and Dogs and Kat: Dog Training & Behavior Counseling in Nashville, Tennessee, is here to make sure Fido doesn’t miss out. Her bakery, specializing in all-natural dog treats, is also known for a deliciously refreshing pupsicle recipe that you can easily make at home.
These treats are a great way to give your pup a boost of vitamins and protein. You can substitute ½ cup blueberries, strawberries, or peanut butter for the banana. Remember: Grapes, raisins, citrus, chocolate, and pitted fruits are off-limits for your pooch.
Prefer to purchase? Check your store for these products (approved by our resident pup): Smart Pup Smoothie Treat (four cups, $6), Nature’s Variety SweetSpots (four cups, $5), The Honest Kitchen Ice Pups (5 oz powdered mix, $11), and Yöghund Organic Frozen Yogurt (one 3½-oz cup, $2).
