MacGyver Challenge: Inkjet Printer

Using the screwdriver, disassemble your old printer and remove all the internal hardware, leaving the ink cartridge holder intact (it can be used to store nails and smaller tools).

Remove the foam board from inside the printer and cut a sizable square to make a floor for the ink cartridge holder.

Reassemble the printer’s floor and outer shell, but don’t replace the paper tray.

In the recess from where you removed the paper tray, place magnets all over the metal floor and the adjacent metal side to keep your tools securely in place.

Pop in your wrenches and pliers, and close the lid until your skills are next needed.
